Once again, the Dada Drummer Almanach is taking a short break from bi-weekly publication because I’m going on tour - our first shows overseas since this mishegas started in 2020. Naomi and I are very happy to be returning to the UK, and in London and Glasgow we will be sharing the bill with our dear friend Richard Youngs. On the way over, we are stopping for our first ever visit to Iceland - a debut, after all these years! - and before returning home we will be in one of our favorite places, Paris, to sing in a grand old café on the same block where Piaf lived.
Thank you for your continued support of this newsletter - paid subscriptions are now one of the ways I piece together an artist’s analog life in these digital times. Publishing on Substack has become as important to me as Bandcamp downloads of our recordings. And live music… we’ll always have live music…
