Good read! I was hoping ChatGPT could help me with my lyric drought for a new Watererer record, but I found the same thing--sappy clichés. Not even a weird word mashup. Suppose I have to go back to thinking for myself or try to find an older, more chaotic AI.

Today's NYTimes obit of songwriter Huey "Piano" Smith on his songwriting process, also not exactly "self-murder": "When you put the music with words and things together, the songs just make themselves. And after you listen at it, it says something its own self, that you hadn't planned."
